Another Busy Month - Halloween Edition!

Hello again!

Happy Halloween to everybody! It's been an exciting month here as the filming "season" kicked into high gear. As you may have heard through the grape-vine or read elsewhere on the web, I was hired as an extra for the upcoming WWII film Little Boy! It's being directed by Alejandro Monteverde (Ali Landry's husband, for those who are curious) and is set to star Sean Astin, Kevin James, and Emily Watson, just to name a few. In fact, I spotted miss Watson at the commissary when I visited the studio for my costume fitting.

New Month, New News!

Hello again!

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. I certainly did! It was a great end to a very busy and productive month. Since I last wrote, I've decided to put off finding a day job for now and devote all of my efforts to acting and industry work. In the last few weeks I've done some audience work for "American Ninja Warrior" and "Baggage" (where I got to shake hands with Jerry Springer) and filmed a few lines as a featured extra for a new reality show, "Excused".

Hello again!

Lot's going on at the moment (as usual)! I've been going to auditions and window-shopping for potential day jobs, making plans for a brief visit to the East coast in early July, and preparing for my family to come out to L.A. in August! On the side, I've been doing quite a bit of reading, catching up on some Doctor Who (both the current [incredibly intense] season and some classic episodes), and playing as much piano and guitar as I can.

Hello once again!

Now that Joe and I have made it to Los Angeles, CA, I finally have a wee bit o' free time, so I'll catch you up on recent events. If you had read the last entry of the blog, you would have read that after a frustrating night of attempting to find food and reasonably priced lodging, I was forced to execute a thirty-eight point turn in order to back into the one and only available parking space. As Joe and I left the hotel that morning, we noticed the following sign. Whoops!

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. The last couple of days have been just packed! In a good way. So let's see what you've missed...

When we last stopped, we were resting up for the next days visit to Roswell, NM's UFO Museum and Research Center.

Hey there!
Picture
The last two days have sure been interesting! Yesterday morning we left Joplin, MO and headed south. After a few hours of listening to the original "The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy" radio programs, we stopped in Amarillo, TX. It was here that we saw The Big Texas Steakhouse (which claims on one of its many highly tacky signs [with a bizarrely high level of accuracy] to have fed Joe's father.)

Hello, all!

In case you weren't aware, Joe and I have left for L.A.! Last night we were presented with colorful, tasty treats topped with rubber ducks. It was soon decreed these two imitation aquatic fowl, "Whistle Fart" and the ex-convict "Rubber the Duckie", would be your guides to the first few entries of my new blog. We finished packing (mostly) late last night and, after one last trip to Martin's for supplies, got some rest before leaving this morning around 9 am.
